What options are out there to retain the cruise control on an '80s non-airbag Ford product while replacing the steering wheel? I know Grant makes a kit, anyone know of another?

Yes, but I don't have the links saved. Search the web sites of the major wheel makers, just about all of them have some Ford wheels with buttons in their lineups.

Grant makes a button kit for old Fords.

You can also make your own, it's pretty simple to do.

Momo used to make a 4 spoke and 3 spoke wheel for the same purpose.

Hey thanks! In the end I decided to wrap the original wheel with leather. It's already a nice small diameter, so making it a bit thicker will work out perfectly.

On the other hand, I'll probably give you a shout when it comes time for the cruise for the 442.
