What can be used to put the sparkle back into lens ,mine are 1st gen camaro.

I don't know if this correlates, but the headlights & turn signal lenses on my 93 K1500 were beat up pretty bad. I just took some 3M rubbing compound to them and they cleaned up pretty well.

3M makes a plastic cleaner and plastic polish for len's. Go to 3M.com and you will find it. Otherwise you can use regular polishing compounds and it will make a big improvement.

I've actually wet-sanded lenses with 1500grit, then used 3M rubbing compound by hand (no electric buffer), followed by Mother's Plastic Polish. Came out great!

I intended to switch to the l.e.ds but you need lens don't you , does anybody do flush 67 light rims and lens

Wet sanding and polishing works awesome. as does using a spray on clear.
the clear coat will outlast Mother's polish by about a year, I've learned.

Once you have them buffed out pledge works great also
