Howdy,

I'm a fabricator/shop manager from the DFW area, thought I'd introduce myself. Recent projects I've been involved in of interest to this forum would be a '67 Malibu - 540 Bill Mitchell, 6-speed, full AirRide, Baer 13" fr/ 12" rr discs; '69 Camaro - 502, 700r4, DSE minitubs, 9" rear & quadralink, Baer 13" frt/12" rr discs; '67 GTO conv. restomod - 400 pontiac, 700r4, 9" rear.

My own current project is a very-lowered, 500" Cad motivated '67 C10 shortbed. After that, I have a '69 Torino awaiting a full C4 suspension and Novi supercharged SBF. I spent several years involved in open-tracking, culminating in a fabrication business building O.T./race cars. I now work at a shop primarily serving the street rod market. Fortunately, we can occasionally persuade the owners to allow us to work on muscle cars.:)

Sounds like you have been a part of some very nice projects. Out of curiosity where do you work?

Thanks for the welcome! I dug up a couple of pics of the initial mockup of the Torino and the truck under construction...

Sweet projects Chad. I'm building a Cad 500 Powered 70 Nova right now so it'll be cool to swap notes on your C10! Welcome aboard!

Nothing too crazy - It's a '76 EFI motor; The plan is to use a mild cam, do some milling on the stock intake to use a 4-barrel throttle body with a Commander 950 EFI setup and Sanderson block-huggers. 500 ft-lbs ought to be fine! :)

Chad, not sure what the budget is, but consider a Bulldog Intake (http://www.cadillacperformanceparts.com/components/com_phpshop/shop_image/product/c8c6e449f73a6595fc848b25b2b99a02.jpg) ($440 @ Potter's (http://www.cadillacperformanceparts.com/)) - it has injector bosses to go MPI (or just an Edelbrock 2115 if you're talking TBI based system).

You've got me thinking about making mine FI now...hmmmm.....

No worries on the intake, the stock manifold already has injector bosses (early Bosch MPFI). I just have to make custom fuel rails and port the intake to adapt from 2-barrel throttle body to 4-barrel. If that proves to be inadequate, I'll build my own multi-throttle body intake! :)
