Well the paint is finished and the outside is officially DONE! It is an 06 Mazda Copper Red color.
Next up, a complete Air Ride system with a full set of strong arms. Then a big brake upgrade and I'll be all set for some 'Pro Touring' :1st:

Hi, yes it does have T-Tops, AKA my A/C. ;)
**nevermind** I tried to post a pic of your car lowered a little but I hacked it out using Paint....And I didn't see your post in multimedia. You obviously know how to photoshop. Again, car looks awesome...

Sorry. I just had to. What size wheels are on it now? I'd say the chopped ones are closer to 17s and 19s. But i just stretched them till they looked right to me, just swapped some rim for some tire.

No need to be sorry, I think it looks great. They are 17's on there now. I thought about 40 series tires, but I don't want to sacrifice ride quality too much, but man, maybe I need a spare set of 19s/20s on 40's along with the air ride...

I am impressed! You took a body style that I really don't like and made a very sweet looking car out of it! That looks damned good!!
Shiny Side Up!

Diggin the color. It definetly needs a drop but not sure about the rims. Not in to a lot of shine. Maybe if the spokes were painted. Seeing a nice Monte makes me miss my 86ss.

My first car was a '79 in that color. Well parts of it were that color, anyway. 305, 2.29:1 rear, 14" rallys and white letters, and every power option imaginable, I believe. That car held up to an amazing amount rawhiding.

Thats exactly how this one started. 305, 2;29 rear and 14" hubcaps! Sat nice and low with the original sagging coils.

looking good....the photochop is done tastefully too. you might have to consider a different tire size when you add the air. posibly different offset. We'll cross that bridge later. Shirts are awesome too.

Jason I like that photochop too. I might consider the tucked 19/20s in the future, but IMO tucked on my 79 doesnt look that great since I've got those big sweeping curves going on. Kinda like an elephant on roller skates... Looks good on your Bu.. but not so sure about mine.
Glad you got the shirts ok...

I dont like anything bigger than a 18 on our cars. I think a 17,18 combo is killer but just my opinion.

I wish I still had mine :crying: You painted over too much of the stainless steel/chrome. That Photoshop is awesome.

The chrome trim was shot (oxidized).. And no parts are to be found. I like the cleaner look anyway.. IMO these cars had too much chrome/trim/stick up hood ornament.. it all looked tacky so I took it all off.
