Got down there around 2:30pm...sorry if I missed anyone from the boards. I was waitin' on the Wife to get back from the Mall.

Great turnout of cars (for an open house, that is). Hell...just seeing Malitude, Red Witch, and The Mule all within a few feet of each other was worth the trip down. Probably never see that again. In Michigan anyways. Wheel To Wheel is a very impressive place...after talking to Kurt Urban, their Director of Operations, I've decided I am definitey gettin in bed with these guys. Their knowledge of experience of LS1 technology is simply amazing. In the one dyno picture, Kurt is doing test runs of the new LS2 that Wheel To Wheel messed around with. A couple of bolt-on parts and they were squeezing 529 horsepower out of it....amazing. And hearing it wind out on the dyno was enough to get your testosterone flowing. Take a good look at Malitudes interior...Mark did a super job on it. The center counsel is interesting, it appears to be made of aluminum, although I could be wrong. This was my friend Joe's first time seeing The Mule in person....it's all he talked about on the way home.

Alright, enough of my blabbing....here's the pictures.

Dang that place has some serious toys. Every time I see that new Twin-Turbo setup in the Mule it gives me uncontrollable drool syndrome.

Thanks for taking photos and sharing!

Nice pics. Where is that 05 mustang from again? I saw it at a boot in sema this year, but forget what booth is was.

I have had the best experiences with Kurt Urban. When the Mule had a problem at the beginning of Power Tour, Kurt jumped on a plane and helped fix the car so my Wife and I would not miss our vacation. I mean we called him the night before from Texas and he was in Texas the next morning. Show me one other company that go do that for you. Most would have said "Sorry Dude, bring it back and we will fix it." I will remember that forever....

Nutsy...I have no idea about the '05 Mustang. It looked like it and the Dodge Magnum R/T were of the same modification.

I spent about an hour and a half there. Got to talk to Kurt for a bit as well. First time I met him and I got the impresion that he really knows his stuff.

Tony, I looked for the hat didn't see any :dunno: I looked for any references to Hydratech as well looking for Paul, no luck there either. Next time I guess.

The place was worgth seeing and I'm saving my $$ hoping that they can work some LS magic for me in the future. (Just for reference Kurt said a 650 HP single turbo L series motor was about $10K installed).

Nutsy, that Mustang was way cool with the glass roof. It had a sticker on the panel that read "glassback". It was done by Classic Design Concepts in Walled Lake, MI. You can see the car on their website: here (http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/).

Jason, what time were you down there? I wasn't wearing a hat, I had my black Pro-Touring shirt on. I saw Paul from Hydratech and talked to him for about 10 minutes. He was wearing his Hydratech shirt but had it covered up with his jacket. I was there for about an hour. Sorry I missed ya.

I got there a little after 1:00 and stayed til about 2:30. We just didn't know who to look for. As soon as some more stock comes in, I'll order me one of those black shirts for myself.

I'm genuinely sorry to have missed the oppurtunity to meet another fellow forum member(s)! My 442 was sitting right outside with the "www.hydroboost.com" on its rear window, though I did have my coat on, covering the company logo on my shirt...

How about this? The next time an event like this comes up, we should all most definitely agree upon a specific time and place to meet, to insure that we don't anonymously bump into each other (without atleast saying HEY !!!)

Ps - I did let Tony slide on that :wedgie: that I promised him, as I forgot that he is like a freakin oak tree / big MOFO!

That's a swell idea. However...I tried to get a meet together at the Baker's Show back in June and everyone bailed out 3 days before the event. Maybe we could do something for Autorama this year. My cousin's car is going to be in the show so I'll probably be there the whole weekend. We could take the People Mugger over to Greektown and have ourselves our own little Pro-Touring dinner here in the mid-west.

Ahh ya see......there I go dreaming again.

I ride that thing occasionally on the way to Joe Louis Arena (from the Lindell AC) to watch the 'Wings play, and must say that your choice of words had me laughing for quite some time - uncontrolled... People Mugger... :box:

Tony - give me a shout before the Autorama this year :usa:
