Tonight I started tearing down my old 454, mainly to get ready for a rebuild, but also to finally find out what's inside. I'm unable to determine the cam model/brand also whether it's a hydraulic or flat tappet cam. Any help would be appreciated. Some numbers on the cam were:
15 48 - cast markings
CWC I5 - cast markings
3143 - stamped in to rear of cam

Here are some pics of the cam lifters:

From all the casting numbers I was able to tell that it's a LS6 block, with 11.25:1 forged pistons and 118cc, rectangular port, open-chamber heads. Some more pics:

The CWC is the manufacturer of the core; they make cams for over 60% of the manufacturers / grinders out there.

3143 stamped on the end is probably the grind #. Most cam manufacturers use 5 numbers. I'll ask around, but your best bet is to measure it.

Hi !
I found this page.

http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/3000/cmspec.html

You will find the figures " (386) 3143 " here.

It looks like it is "65-71 High Perf Mech 396 - 454" camshaft you´ve got there.
