should i go with 18s for my 69 camaro?

i was just wondering if there were any draw backs to putting 18s on a 69 camaro? i have 17s on my mustang and they just look tiny to me. currently the car has 15s and is riding on some crappy 7in rallys. so anything will be an upgrade to get rid of the crappy tires that are on the car.

i wanted to get a set of 18x9.5 and 18x8 coys c5 in chrome.

i just wasnt sure if they would fit on the back of the car well or not. im running dse 3in drop leafs and a currie muscle car 9in with the big drums. up front i have hotchkis 1.5 springs and SSBC stock style disks.

any fitment issues?

i was going to run a 295-35-18 BFG drag radial and a 235/245-40-18 in the front.

also who has the best deal on the coys? i e mailed a guy who always has ebay auctions for them and he told me $1200 was the best he could do for chrome.

They will fit no problem, talk to Tim at Paradise Road Rod and custom, There is a link on the right of your screen. I have the same rear end as you, and have 20x8.5s

i e mailed them shortly after posting this. i might settle for polished to save a few bucks.

I prefer the polished after seeing them on a few cars. You should be able to get the 18s in polished for around 800.00 delivered...
