When running a DSE mini tub kit on a 1st gen fbody, is the narrowed gas tank required?

The leaf spring kit will required mods to the tank.
I've been told that the stock tank will work with the quadra link kit

SO if I just wanted to mini tub the car I would not need the narrowed tank?

With leaf springs you will need a narrowed tank beacuse of the off set shackles.

Wow I was going to do a miniTub on my 69 but I have a RockValley tank , Does that mean I have to buy a new one. Or if I go with the Quad link can I keep my tank ?
