I swear someone mentioned that Holley or Hooker had LS conversion motormounts. Am I off my rocker on this or do they really have them? If they have them, does anyone have a part number? I have tried searching on Holley's website with no luck. Thanks.

There was a thread a few months back in which the differences in the Holley mounts were different from the ATS and other types. The ATS plates were one of the ones that actually did it right.

Diffence between the mounts are how much they put the engine back.

The Hooker ones put the bellhousing face on the block in the same position as the Gen 1 engine. But since the cyl heads sits further back on the Gen 3 engine it can be very close to the firewall.

Other brackets puts the engine to the front giving more clearance.

Putting the engine to the front requires cutting the oilpan. I am not sure how much is needed with the Hooker mounts but I suspect that you can comply without modifying the pan at all with Hooker.

FWIW,

I have both the S&P Plates and the Holley Plates. The S&P plates position the motor more forward BUT lower. Converesly, the Holley plates sit the motor further back but higher.

I bought a set of the Holley/Hooker Long tube headers. However with the S&P plates the headers hit the steering box.

So, I welded up the Holley plates. Then drilled and tapped them to sit lower but in their original position (closer to the firewall).

I ended up with plates that position the motor tight to the firewall (holley's position) and Lower (S&P's position).

The headers now have plenty of clearance.

Thank you Patrick. I ran that number through Holley's website and they don't even list it on their own website.

Thanks everyone. I do appreciate the help. I figure if the hookers don't work then I will just make my own.
