Could the RSS feeds be turned on? I tried the possible links in the FAQ but didn't seem to get any results.

Thanks

I am working on that and hope to have it up and working soon. I wonder who else might be interested in the feed?

I have a few updates I am working on and I'm trying to upgrade the PT Garage this weekend and hope to have this ready too.

Can you try it now? I turned it on to test but will shut it down soon for a while.

I just set up the RSS feed to display on my MyYahoo page!! :twothumbs :twothumbs Awesome feature!! It makes it much easier/faster to check out the site while at work!

After setting up the RSS feed, by clicking the link on the RSS Feed FAQ (https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/faq.php?s=&do=search&q=RSS+Feed&match=all&titlesonly=0) page. The RSS Feed is getting setup as RSS 0.91 and not the RSS 2.0 feed. When you hover over the when the "To add this to MyYahoo click here" hyplerlink it shows the https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2 being passed as the RSS 2.0 parameter. Is this a problem with the parameter being sent by Pro-Touring, or recieved by Yahoo?

Still a very cool feature, just thought you might like to know.

I'm sorry I don't know much about an RSS feed yet but I do beleive we are feeding RSS2.0 but I will double check.

Larry,

Within MyYahoo they have a 'Display Option' setting which by default displays the feed as RSS 0.91, even though you are sending RSS 2.0 feed.

In MyYahoo the "For each article, display the:" setting under 'Display Option' should be set to "headline and short summary" to display the RSS 2.0 feed properly and "headline" for RSS 0.91.

Uh, my head hurts. I'll log into my old Yahoo account and see if I can figure out what your looking at. Like I said I'm just learning RSS

Internet Explorer does not support feeds with DTDs.

Larry,

I was able to get https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2 to work on IE 7.

Glad to hear it worked for you. How do you like it? I've not really used it yet.
