Does anyone have any tips on trying to locate a small gas leak? My garage smells like gas when I park my car inside. I have braided hoses and I think one of the fittings may be seeping a little. Any tips on how to find the leaker?

most auto stores sell leak detection powder. just spay on and let dry....or you can use baby powder.
What have you done with you fuel system?

things to check: gas cap. Evaporative canister for saturation. Evaporative hoses disconnected?

"Ordinary" (non teflon-lined) braided SS hoses will emit some smell. It may not be a gas leak at all.

Do you HAVE an evap cannister or is the tank or fuel system simply vented to the air? Natural expansion of the fuel will cause the gas smell if it's not vented properly.

I get three years out of braided fuel hose using race gas, then they start leaking.
