I just finished installing a Sony headunit in my glove box. I will be able to attach my Ipod as well as controlling the unit with a wired remote all the while with the door shut. Currently, I have a couple of Eclipse 6x9's in the rear deck.

I will be removing the old Pioneer in the dash and installing an original AM radio. I will start looking for one. Since it does not need to work, I have seen them on Ebay for cheap.

Just thought I would share. I mounted the unit in a universal adapter, Crutchfield provided free of charge, on a Aluminmum shelf and cut a hole in the back. It is a tight fit but I am pleased.
