Hey guys

Every year a guy from the Cougar club who resides in Texas puts together a "Cougars & Kittens" calendar, with shots of various 67 - 73 Cougars that he has taken in the past season.

This year he managed to make it up to the All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle PA, in June. I've been attending this event for the last 5 years, but usually took my Thunderbird Super Coupe down. But this year one of the local Cougar clubs were hosting a special event within the Carlisle show, aptly named a "Cougar Prowl". So I made the 900 mile round trip in my 68 Cougar.

Anyway, here is a preview of the 2007 calendar. My car is November.

Mild NSFW warning, bikini chics (kittens).

Make that 3 votes for fast Ed's car. It's one of only a few that have any modifications whatsoever, which is definitely a plus in my book. Nice looking car!

Thanks guys.

The angle of the photo is good, it's hard to tell that I still have small brakes hiding behind the 18" wheels. LOL

I agree about the model too. Of the three being used there at Carlisle, she was definitely the cutest. She loved the colour of my car too, which tends to be a love it or hate it thing.

I never said congratulations on getting in the calendar, Ed. I also wanted to thank you for being very helpful in all of my threads with my questions.

Your Cougar looks awesome in the calendar . . . the stance is perfect! Any more pics of the car . . . even without the model, ha, ha? I (and I'm sure others) would love to see them.

You're welcome Josh, us Mercury guys have to stick together here!! LOL

There are a couple of other photos from Carlisle in the show field, but it's sitting on a hill on a wierd angle, so the stance is all messed up. Speaking of which, we still have to play with that a bit. The right front is a bit too high (the 105 lb. model took care of that perfectly for the calendar pic), and the left rear is a bit low. It's on the to-do list for the spring. Once it's sorted out, I'll make sure to get some good shots of the car.

A lot of people at shows and cruise nights have commented positively on the wheel choice. Including old school guys who usually don't care for big diameter wheels on classic cars. I think it's because they are basic 5-spoke wheels, that aren't overly flashy. When I picked them out, I chose the painted over chrome or polished, which IMO would have overpowered the paint colour on this car.
