Thank gawd you posted a link to a car site, because a sentence like that could be used to introduce all sorts of things not necessairly appropiate for this board!

Spyker cars are awesome! I love their early airplane influence. Saw them when they were introduced to the US at Pebble Beach a few years back. :twothumbs Very nice!

It is also nice to see that Spyker had bought the Midlands (?) F1 team and is out on the track. I think they will be Ferrari powered in 07......

They only built 200 cars a year!!!!!!! and the hand built craftman ship is awesome . the origenal car founder/builder is now making speed boats if you think the cars are super then waight til you see the boats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David- Don't get me wrong, I love the car and the craftsmanship and all the details, just a little surprised that it was that much money. They must be doing just fine if they have the funds to field a GT2 and F1 team!

Oh my God (covers face with hands) not Audi power. I work on cars for a living and some of the worst built cars in my professional opinion are Audi/Volkswagen. The stupidity of those engineers is beyond me, get this,, a plastic inpeller on a water pump THEN they use from the factory a coolant with a plastisizer in it which even GM found to cause leaks (DexCool has a component called 2EHA and it is one of the major problems with plastic framed gaskets and intakes GM has. Ford wont even buy into Havoline/Texaco non silicate antifreeze, they had thier own designed and only use it in limited applications.
My bosses duaghter has an Audi and we are constantly working on that POS. At least once a month if not more it comes in with problems/on the hook.
We get so many Audi/Volkswagen in with problems as there is a dealer in the same town.
I have a cousin who is be all and end all Volkwagen/Audi/Porsche fanboy and wont buy anything after 98 from any brand. He told me that after 98 all the quality left the brand/designs.
while Audi/etc do run good (never busted on thier performance) the quality and design have came down so far that i would never recommend them again. My sister bought a new 85 Jetta and I got it with well over 175k on the clock, but knew that it had design problems (little things that needed to be better built/designed) so I fixed a few problems and sold it to a fella who now has over250k on it.
But for a company to build such a gotgeous car around such mediocre inderpinnings when better are out there,, is such a waste.
BUT beautiful ,awesomely designed cars.
