Holy crap when I looked at that first picture I thought it was a fake Photoshop job or something. That is awesome; I'd love to cruise that thing, assuming it didn't collapse or anything. :seizure:

That's like every road in MA, you take your life in your hands every time you pull out of the driveway.
I wonder how many car chase movie scenes have been filmed there....that screams Bond, James Bond!

When I was looking for those other pics it led me to a blog where everyone was saying it was actually in China. I have no idea, just repeating what I read.

its actually in la paz, boliva and not china, its only wide enough for 1 car to go up but they have to squeez by each other with the driver side clostest to the edge because he can see how close he is to death for the other vehical to pass. heres a link to the bike tours

I live about an hour south of the dragon's tail, it's an awesome ride both on a bike and in a car.
Done Deal's....got the T-shirt! That was on my CBR. I need to do it in the Camaro sometime.

I loved that road. 4.5 hours to get to the 7 pools. 2.5 to get back. Couldn't do the other side though because the rental had gps tracking (damn big brother)

The highway in Bolivia is known as El Camino la Morte(the road of death). A Minnisota company got the winning bid, it is going to take something like 10 years to finish it. I was going to take the Buell to the Dragon but it got wiped out. I am hoping to do the Dragon and the Skyway in the 'cuda if I get it up to Pigeon Froge. What is the distance from Pigeon Forge to the Dragon?
