Will the modular ball joint that Savitske sells give the same camber gain as the G-mod?

I don't want my 68 fb to look like its has been modified to much and since the fram is already painted I was wondering if the offset shaft and the taller ball joint might be a better way to go?

We`ve got several different configurations now. Two will give slightly less gain than the most common variation of the G mod (Stage 1 or 2),the other two will give you more camber gain and RC height change than the G mod (Stage 1-Plus/2-Plus). The Plus series still give slightly less camber gain than the tall AFX aluminum spindles. If you`d like that much (or more) you can combine the Stage 1 or 2 with the G mod.
Now for the caveat (there`s always a catch isn`t there?). IF you`re running stock ride height and not too much nose down rake you can probably run the std. tall upper ball joints with offset cross shafts and still get decent performance alignment numbers. If it`s lowered much you may need to compromise some on the alignment and go closer to stock specs. If it`s lowered a lot (with springs that is) you may not be able to get decent alignment specs out of it at all. How big are the shim stacks now? The X-tall Severe Duty ball joints probably won`t work with stock arms even with offset cross shafts. You can get some really meaningful gain out of the regular tall ones though. Consider the tall tie rod ends too, they make a HUGE difference in correcting the factory bumpsteer. Mark SC&C

Thanks for the reply. I'm interested in the Moog 5006 front springs you recommended on your site for a 1 drop. I need to check the spring compared to the stock specs. My car is a convertible so I don't if it would still work. I'm not looking to go exstream, I just want a little better -camber and a little better + caster then stock. I hope i'm saying that right. This car may go to the drag strip once in a while but will never see a road corse just twisty roads on sunny days. I may need to call you to better understand my options.
