View Full Version : Can a '69 Camaro grill fit a '69 Firebird?

I've been messing around with different ideas but just can't find a decent way to make the beak look better on my '69 bird. Can I get a '69 Camaro front grill with headlights and put on there?

You would have to change the fenders.
I think the best thing you can do with the 69 bird is paint the beak the same color as the car, the chrome just doesn't look right to me. But I think the chrome looks good on the 67 and 68 birds.

I guess it depends on if the FB fenders are the same as the Camaro fender.

Sorry guys, I love the car, just everytime I look at that chrome grill I try to picture it some other way.
If anyone has any pictures of modified front grills I'd love to see them.

Get yourself a glass bumper and paint it.

This way you don't have to destroy the stock piece. Make billet grilles for it.
