I know this is about as far from Pro-Touring related as you can get but I'm pulling my hair out here...any help would be appreciated.

My 2000 ZR2 Blazer's heater control is messed up, when you put it to come out at your feet it comes out at the defrost. All other positions on the dial come out where they are supposed to. Are any of you guys GM Techs that can maybe help me figure this out? I have the Auto 4x4 option so I don't have the transfer case vaccuum switch that tends to go. I check the HVAC switch and it seems to be working fine and I can see four actuators under the dash and they all seem to be functioning. I hear no "hissing" anywhere so as best I can tell I have vacuum integrity. It's almost like a door is stuck inside and not allowing the air to pass to the floor...:dunno:

If that is electric actuated its probably a control problem if its vacuum its most likely a leak or faulty control seal.
Not seeing it in person hurts as i can make it go through the motions.
Give me day or 2 and Ill see what I can dig up.

:twothumbs Cool Lee, let me know. It's vacuum actuated. I had the switch apart and checked the lines as best I could, all seem tight with no leaks.

Even if you could just tell me which of the four actuators controls the heat to the floor that would be a big help. I'm leaning towards the one closest to the firewall on the drivers side.
