Which Chevy big block combo would you go with for the street? A 489 or 496 stroker or a 502 crate with ported heads and larger camshaft.

489&496
Dart Heads and intake
roller solid camshaft
Gen 6 new block
Scat cast steel crank

502
Stock GM crate short block
Stock aluminum ported heads and different springs and seals
Crane solid roller camshaft
Edelbrock Victor junior intake

The 489 or 496 can be built a little cheaper and looking at 570-590 horse and 600-620lbft. The 502 would be 625 horse and 600 ft lbs.
I have heard the stroker has better manners and drivability than a GM 502 due to the longer stroke. I have to figure out what motor to go with shortly and would like you opinions.

Thanks

Put a stroker crank in the 502. There is no substitute for CID.
