I originally was not planning to do this, but since I'm going to be replacing both inner rear fender wells and trunk floor, I figured I might as well at least look into it.

What I'm mainly wanting to know, is what all I will need in the process of installing mini tubs... that includes anything that needs to be done to the body, rear end (cutting, relocating shock mounts??), shocks, mounting hardware, etc. and cost of parts. Also how much more will I have to plan on having into the extra wide wheels/tires?

I plan on staying with leafs.

Trying to hold onto a budget here, but if cost feasable I may try and shoot for it??

EDIT: Guess I should ask this, other than this kit here... http://www.detroitspeed.com/productpages/indproduct/rearsuspensionprod/mini_tub_prod.htm... what else would I have to worry about? Shocks? rear end shock mounts? Gas tank? Etc....

Any pics of install would be greatly appreciated as well.

If it helps you to piece the kit together, I have a brand new set of Koni Minitub shocks from DSE and a slightly used (under 100 miles) set of 2" DSE drop leaf springs.

Shocks $160 for the pair ($50 off price of new)
Springs $285 ($100 off price of new)

I have several pictures of when the minitubs were being installed in mine if you give me an email address I will send them to you.

You will have to narrow a tank or buy one of DSE's narrowed tanks. As far as wheels, you will be able to fit a 11 or 12 inch wheel with up to a 345 tire.
