Hi all, I was referred here for help in looking at a 67 Camaro in Yuba City CA. I was specifically referred to ViperBlue68, as he lives there, but I haven't had any luck in getting ahold of him. If there is anyone else willing to look at a car there, I would really appreciate it. I am in MN and obviously can't go see it myself. I am willing to compensate for time and gas.
Thanks, Mitch

I live in Chico. I'm pretty busy with school and work but, if you are really serious about this car, shoot me a pm and we will talk.

i go up there almost every weekend. I could do it for ya. What's the cars decription, and who's the owner now? I probably already have seen the car or know the guy.

The car is on ebay, here's the link:

I talked to the seller yesterday....his name is Louis and he had the car shipped to him a couple weeks ago from TX ? He has other 1st gens that his fixes up and sells. If the car is as free of the usual rust issues as he claimed, then yes , I am going to try to buy it at his reserve price. If anyone knows of a clean 67 coupe down there to be had for a better price, by all means, let me know. I don't have a lot of choices up here and I really need a clean body to start with...I'm not a bodyman. Mechanicals aren't as important, as I intend to restore one like I would have ordered it. My top preference would be an RS with 4 speed and as many otions as possible, disc brakes, ps, console, gauges, but they usually go for more than I can spend.
Thanks for the responses, guys, I appreciate any help or insight you can offer, Mitch

Mitch,
I got your pm...I can take a look at it for you but not till the weekend because I'm usually at the office until 5:00ish so its dark by then...and it wont cost you anything either! If Tony is gonna be here over the weekend you might wanna let him check it out too...that way you get more than one opinion...I believe I have seen this car in town before  just not positive...I'll pm ya my# so we can talk further if you need me too do this...

He had to work late and didn't get to call you back. He lowered the buy it now to $11,500 and I just bought it....I hope it's as clean as he claims. I really appreciate your trying to help me here, he just didn't make that possible.

Thanks JT, Mitch

Hey J T you tried to do your part....just no one home on his end.
Again, thanks for being there and willing to help...it really meant a lot that you would take your time to do this for a stranger !!
