Just curious how much people used their cars. Things like how many shows, track days and miles you did this summer.
I had my best year ever. Randy

Hmmm, I've put about 400 miles on my new motor, which we fired up in July. Normally, I do about 2K miles a year, but between trying to get my 3 year old son potty-trained and a newborn baby girl, I didn't have too much free time. :) Car is running good though!

I put 286 miles on my car this year. We bought a new house, sold our old one ourselves, which didn't leave a lot of time for fun.

My '68 moved approximately 10 miles across Brooklyn (from storage to my uncle's body shop). The body work is almost done, though :)
My '01 had about 3,000 miles worth of use.

About 5,000 miles, including a loop from Los Angeles, to Seattle, to Billings, Montana, to Reno (via Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks) and back to LA. The picture is in the Grand Teton National Park.

Finished my cay in July and put 700 miles on it. Last week I replaced the stock front buckets with some Scat Procar seats. Still have a lot things to fix and get right this winter.

I had a late start waiting for the motor to be finished (4th July by the time it was in) but still managed a touch over 2000 miles for me, mostly weekend driving since I didn't get any vacation. About 1/2 of which with ProBell's camaro in the mirror or looking at his tailpan. Fun summer.

At the LI gathering last year, I was mocked about having only 5,000 on the odometer of my '02 SS. I now have over 11,000 on the clock. Time to trade it in, it's old and worn out now.:lmao:

I was allowed to use it? :seizure:
I did push it all over the garage, and parts of it are scattered about the property. All that movement must add up to a least 1 mile.

Do you know what NADA means!??!
STILL got it tore apart in the rear. New kid and new priorities. And the other car (58 Nomad) to drive didn't help getting the thing done any quicker.

Big year for me. Took out the 73 almost every weekend. I'll bet over 900 mile since July.:headbang:

Probably about 200 this year for me, which is low. I usually drive it about 1200-1500 miles each year, between March and October. Kinda hard to justify it as transportation with mileage like that, isn't it? I guess I would have to characterize my 69 as "American nostalgic occasionally rolling mechanical sculpture."

Not sure how many miles, but alot of cruising around the Niagara Falls area and a family road trip.
This year was the same as last, GM Nat's in Carlisle, PA. It's about a 12-14 hour round trip for us from Canada.
What's cool is we got a mention in Nov. 06 CHP for making the trip 2 years in a row with my wife & kids, 3 & 6 years old. :twothumbs
Hoping to do some of the power tour next year.

I drive my car Camaro every day. I'm not sure how many miles I put on it. Along with driving it to work, I took it to a Good-Guys show. That about sums it up.

You know you have a project car when it travels more distance vertically than it does laterally in on year!

I took my car out maybe 10 times this summer, never really went too far with it, $3.80/gallon doesn't play very nice with the wallet when you're in college...or any time for that matter!! Had good times while it was out though, and that's all that matters!:bananna2:

After ~3yrs on jack stands I got a little over 500 miles in this year before some no insurance having rubber head blew a red light and T boned me.

With the GT55, we did a 2500 mile road trip in 7 days going from Tacoma to Pomona CA and back. That includes the trip home of 1140 miles in just over 16 hours. Twisties on the way down (coastal roads the entire time south & cannonballing it back home on I5)
Other than that, some local shows and weekend trips.
I'm guessing around 3000 miles.

Damn, that sucks. I hope no one in your car got hurt. While I don't hope the other driver did get hurt, I can't say I care.

Probably around 5500 miles total. That includes 2750 for Power Tour. Then I used the car as my daily driver all summer. Finally, I trailered down to RTH2 in Pigeon Forge and positively drove the car into the ground. Poor little car, I tore the front spoiler off, split a header tube (faulty weld) and puked gear excess gear oil out of the new 9" rear and right onto my left rear caliper. So much for my brilliant routing of the vent hose.
Now it's time to put it up on jackstands, clean all of the gear oil, tear it apart, and make repairs/upgrades for next year.
