Was told today that a dual 1" core radiator will cool better than a dual 1.5" unit. both being aluminum in same car. is this true? only reason. theory i could come up with is that by the time air reaches the end (ending side) of the cooling fins, it has assorbed all the heat it can and no long cools the radiator. is this correct. NASCAR cars have 4" thick radiators, but that are traveling at high velocities at very high engine rpm.
