Anyone have any idea who makes a bolt on cowl hood for a '69 Firebird?

All i've seen are 4.5" and 5" cowl hoods.....thats a little excessive.

What happened to a 2" or 3 1/2" cowl hood?

All the cowl hood I have seen made for a chicken are those UGLY 4-6 inch cowl hoods. No 2-3 inch hoods on the market that I have seen The only reasonable looking hood for a chicken on the market that I have seen is the T/A repo hood. The T/A cheap repo is that, CHEAP in quality and high in price. The good repo is very high in price and nice in quality. Only T/A hoods available are in glass unless you wish to spend $8-$10K for an original.

Try the 1st generation Firebird bird board. All I have seen there is the UGLY cowl hood however I also was not looking for any type of cowl induction hood for a chicken.

Trying to keep the hood light...Also im scared by molding a cowl onto an existing hood....the area may crack etc with the stresses from the track

I've also been trying to find a small cowl hood, I hate the big ones. I did find a 3" cowl hood but it's alittle pricey....but I guess we don't have much to choose from.
