Greetings Pro-Touring crowd.

New guy here, from Suburban Chicago. 1973 Camaro. Original everything, bought from original owner (even original paint). But all that will shortly change. Pro-Touring concept to blame for that !!

Completing entire interior redo. Next is front clip removal, subframe blast and powdercoat, undercarriage detail. Aluminum bushings from Pro-Touring F-Body.com . By end of winter, new motor (Jon Barrett HotRod Engines), Hotchkis TVS, Strange 3:73 12-Bolt w/ Wilwood 12" disc's.

I come with alot of suspension questions and only one vision (Muscle Car looks w/ modern Horsepower, Braking and Handling) = Pro-Touring?

Wow, even with its few "flaws" that thing is pretty sweet. I even like the color combo. I had the same interior in my '76, but with a matallic champagne exterior. That thing will make an awsome PT car. Did ya see the Popular Hot Rodding series "G-28"? I dodnt have a Camaro any more, so no club affiliation here.

This spring they are talking about another meet. Drag racing and autocross somewhere in the midwest. The event in September down in Tn was unreal, magazine cars thrashed.

I used to belong to the Il Camaro club, but one year my check never was cashed. Oh well now the only club I belong to is the North Suburban Sports Car Club. ( NSSCC ) we auto-cross at several road courses here in the midwest.
