Just thought I'd share a few pics of the car I recently purchased. My '68 LS1/Magnacharger project still had quite a ways to go, and I happened to stumble upon this finished '67 that was almost exactly what I was building. The price was very reasonable, so I went for it.
Of course, I will be changing some things up on the car (can't help it). I already installed my Recaro Styles, Momo wheel and radiator closeout panel from my other car. Future plans are to swap the heads and cam and install a Magnacharger, but right now I'm just happy to have a driving car
Here's some of the specs on the car:
2002 LS6/T56
Wayne Due C5 front subframe
HTH truckarm rear suspension
C5 front brakes & 11" rear discs
hydraulic/electric brake booster
4.11 rear gears w/ Eaton posi
Vintage air A/C
stainless steel exhaust
DSE deep tubs
There really is too much cool stuff on this car to list. It's too bad I can't say I built it  Oh well, I will be improving it at least.
With that being said, I will be selling most of the parts I have for my '68 LS1 project. I will be keeping the body, but I will have an LS1/T56, Wayne Due C4 front subframe (complete w/ 13" Baer brakes) and many other random parts for sale. Here you can see some pics of my '68 and the what I have to sell: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23139
I will be posting it all in the "for sale" section soon.

Very nice! Don't worry that yoy didn't build it, you'll do plenty to make it "yours."

Andy,
Good for you! Well..driving a project thats already done, and from
the pictures..done very well,i think you made a good choice. You
can always tear it down or add what you want as you go,and still
take it out for a spin or to a local car show to enjoy.Just the seats
and little stuff you add on will be a personalized touch on it,and
you don't have to "wait" too do it also...way cool!
Thats what really matters...e-n-j-o-y the ride!! :seizure:
Love the color..silver is a great look on a camaro, almost makes me
want to repaint my elky that color..Hmmmm silver...

The drivability is insane. The car was tuned by a local Vette specialist, and he did one hell of a job. I think it's putting down about 390 at the rear wheels with a smooth idle and great gas mileage.

That's the way I'm looking at it. I've had it only a week or so, and already started to go at it. Just needs a blower now :)

Great looking Camaro. Just out of curiousity, if you have alot of the parts for your other Camaro, why won't you just take the time to build it? Then you can have 2 :twothumbs . Do you know what you'll be asking for the motor/trans combo? I may be interested.

Sweet ride! The master cylinder is huge! How much fluid does that master cylinder hold? I might be interested in the Wayne Due C4 front subframe.

Right now, I don't have the room to keep my new car and and do a complete build on my '68. I'll keep the car to build later on (might not be for aother 10 years), so no need to keep the parts I have. I'm sure there will be newer, better stuff on the market in the future with the way the aftermarket is going with these cars. I don't really need two 1st gens with LSX motors and Wayne Due subframes, or do I? :hmm:
The motor/trans have 31K documented miles. I have everything needed (accessories, ecm, wiring harness, etc.). It will be sold stock with the exception of a 228/230 .590" 14lsa cam and LS2 timing chain I installed. I would like to get $4500 for the setup (I have about $5500 invested).

Wow! That is basically identical to the direction I'm doing my build! Right down to the silver color and painted dash! I'll just be using a LS1 and different wheels.

Good question, it is a monster. It's one of those electric booster setups. There is a hydraulic pump located behind the drivers headlight that feeds pressure to the master cylinder. Everything is nice and hidden, and it works well.
Let me know about the subframe,

I'm open to offers on it. I have reciepts totaling $7000 invested in the front suspension/steering. I'd like to get $5500 for the complete deal. Everything is new (assembled but not used). If that seems unreasonable, I will take offers.

what all is there? brakes etc. etc.?

Here's what I have. At this time, it is all assembled.
Wayne Due C4 subframe & brackets, powdercoated semi-gloss black
1 1/4" speedway engineering sway bar w/ arms & links
used '85 corvette suspension parts (no ABS mounts for cleaner look)
New C4 wheel bearing/hub assemblies
Control arms/knuckles have been ceramic coated
Global West del a lum bushings in upper & lower arms
new ball joints
AGR performance quick ratio rack
new tie rods
QA1 Proma star single-adjustable coilovers w/ 300 lb. springs
13" Baer track system w/ cross drilled & slotted rotors (system was used on my car w/ my stock subframe, I bought new brackets for use with the C4 suspension)
DSE power steering hose kit w/ AN adapters
custom steering shaft w/ u-joints & vibration dampener
Global West interlocking subframe bushings
I think that's it, but there could be something I'm forgetting. I am almost tempted to install the C4 subframe in my '67 to replace the C5 sub that is currently in the car. The C4 stuff is supposed to be a better design than Wayne's C5 stuff from what I have heard. But, I will most likely stick with the C5 frame since it's already installed in the car. I guess the choice is mine......
