Doug Hoppe's Ring Bros.built mustang won the big prize of show and got the Mothers shine award beating the other 9 finalist.The car also won a Ford design award as one of the best in show.Not to bad

It was a well deserved award, the car is just killer. Alloway's mustang is bad too, hard to pick one over the other. Bobby's car has a more street rod flair, while Ring Brother's car is clean, with many hidden features until you really look it over. It probably comes down to personal taste and color preference. I think the Ring brothers wins by a nose.


BTW, Streetking's camaro was one of the finalist here and it was on Fox News this morning too. Way to go SW.

The owner of the company I work for had his mustang there also, He didn't get an award, but was asked to take his Mustang to the Hot Rod Awards Banquet on Wednsday Night. It was there with the Black 68 Dart from Time Machines and a red 32 from Grenning's Shop. He had a table availiable and he asked me to go with him hense why I couldn't make the Lateral-g dinner. He signs my pay check, I had to go.

In my opinion the CoupeR Mustang (black fastback) was the best of the super stangs this year. It had a few touches I did not like, but overall it was the most killer.

But then again I didn't get to see as many pictures as I would have liked of the Ring Bros and the "Rosie" car either.

I was a bit disappointed in the Alloway - that black challenger he built was just evil, mean and clean. The mustang was way too pretty and baby blue and white didnt' cut it for me eitehr did the stylized show car interior. I like nice interiors when they are based on more of a stock look - for example my favorite interior was Leno's Toronado.
