I went to the SEMA show yesterday, and as usual, it was a blast. Every year, all of us guys play hookey from work and go to the show. I used to just check out parts for my projects, but lately, I go for the cars. I met Frank from Prodigy and checked out his incredible Firebird. Pictures do not do the car justice. He was really burned out from the long roadtrip, but we talked for a few minutes, and he seemed like a really cool guy. I really liked the Morrison 'Vette, also. Those things make great looking street rods, and their looked like it would be a blast to drive. The color combination was very nice and the build quality was impressive. The '71 Cuda that Alan Johnson built for last year's show was there, and everything that was said about the car was an understatement. It was absolutely incredible. Troy had a '65 Biscayne there that was a mind-blower. I love everything that they build, and you could look at that car for hours and still not see everything. The Johnson Cuda, the Troy Biscayne, and the Alloway '68 Mustang made the whole trip worthwhile. If there was a letdown in the whole show, it was the Motion Camaro. I had such high expectations, and after I saw it, I was disappointed. For the money that they are asking for their cars, it was god-awful. Sometimes, less is more. It looked like it was a display model for an accessories company.
