Hello, Im new to this forum.

Im from Norway, and registerd because Im looking for an American muscle car, I had quite a few options of what I was looking for, but it seems I have landed on an 67 or 68 Camaro...

I was told about this forum by a friend @ jabbasworld.net, so I checked it out, and it seems like an nice place with a nice group of people, much simular to JW so after a few days of lurking around here and reading the faq and geetting a feel for your forum I am now a member..

My nick and avatar might not be in the spirit of your forum, but I have used them both for several years on all the forums I use so please bare with me on them....

regards Espen.

Welcome to the site, Espen. Good choice on the '67 or '68 :).

Thx for the welcome....

On the choice of cars it havnt been easy, I have been looking thru alot of options and models, but for what I want it for wich will be some track use, and some spirited driving I want a car that I can make nimble and a pretty decent handler so I landed on the Camaro..
The reason for going for 67 or 68 instead of 69 are the fenders I dont like the lines going backwards from the top of the wheel arch...the 67 and 69 looks alot "cleaner"....

My list to start with where this one:

Plymouth Roadrunner early 70`s.
Plymouth Cuda early 70`s.
Dodge Challenger early 70`s.
Dodge Charger up to 70.
Pontiac Firebird Formula early 70`s
Chevrolet Camaro upto 68

So as you can understand I have been looking thru quite a few cars...but its part of the fun...I even have been on the edge of going for an GT40 (replica of course) at one point, but found out it would be "too special" to actually enjoy the way I want to...

So now I hope I can get some help and pointers here as my field of expertice are more Euro cars than American, but Im willing to learn, and from alot of the threads I have been reading here it seems like there are alot of people with the know how on here....

Looking forward to digging into the threads more deeply....

Espen.
