Has anyone here installed a 5.7L hemi into an A-body Mopar?
I have a 68 barracuda coupe I'm designing and have leaned towards a 360/904/8.75 setup. However with the thoughts of pro-touring it I have started to wonder about the smaller hemi.
How do the outside demensions of the 5.7 compare with the early 360? I didn't want to go big block (383) because of the cramped fit and the need to do away with some nice accessories.
Also I would like to stick with an automatic trans. What options are there for the 5.7 or the 360 for that matter, should I stay with the 360 idea.

You need to go to the Mopar Ford LSX section and look at the 5.7 hemi swap section.Heres my site http://mysite.verizon.net/ls6ron/

Check out what Reilly Motorsports is up to. It looks like they are making good headway on the Alter-k-tion/5.7 combo in the A-bodies. That would be a hell of a set-up.
