Hey folks, my buddy John Reding, co-worker of mine on this board (don't know his tag yet) turned me onto this site.

Definitely good info since I've been lurking and decided to join up.

Got a few projects going.

Right now, I've got a '70 Challenger 'vert on the rotisserie getting some more body mods (four-speed hump, cleaned up firewall, frame connectors, etc.) before getting paint on it.

Hope to have someone (sux Wayne Due is not doin' business) setup a C4 rear end in her. I already got an RMS Alterkation R&P for her. Hoping the car to get a Keith Black al Hemi for her and a Keisler 5-speed (TKO-II).:woot:

Pic of her after getting acid dipped in Canada:

Other project (haven't really started) is a one of 161 383 Gran Coupe. Hope to make the same suspension mods, but stroke the 383 to like...496 (4.25" arm, 4.28" bore) and maybe get the Keisler four-speed auto conversion. Full 'Cuda conversion (gilled fenders, shaker hood, etc.) also planned...in black!:smoke:

Don't have any good pics of her...yet:

At any rate, glad to join up!

No, he's talkin' about converting the Barracuda Gran Coupe to a 'cuda. The Barracuda's didn't have gills in the fenders and didn't come with Shaker hoods.

-Ragtop, it's always good to see other Mopars on here. I get a kick out of the ney sayer Mopar purists that cry when we bring a little technology to our out-dated suspension. Do you ever hear, " You did save all the original parts to put it back to original, right?" Uhhh, no. Are we supposed to.

I'd leave the gran coupe the way the body is-esp if its that rare, not every barracuda needs to be a 'cuda. the smooth hood and no gills looks great!

Well...I thought about it, but I can't help just how badass this looks, which is my inspiration:
