Hello,
I need a number for craigslist customer service. I found an ad back in august, but I can no longer look it up. Does anybody know how to look up pst postings on craigslist?
Thanks, David

I'm not sure you can. Once the time expires on the ad I don't think there is a way to look it up again. Try posting an ad inquiring about the item you saw and hope for the best.

supposedly they save up to 6 months then purge, takes a court order to get anything...went out of mind trying to buy a car here last year, guy kept lowering his price, he had some filter on his pc e-mails and no e mails got through is all we could figure and he never looked at his adds...about shot myself at the end...lol

You have 45 days before the ad expires, after that it's pretty much gone.

I still think you should post an ad inquiring about the ad your looking for. Its worth a shot. Its got to be a lot easier hoping the original poster sees it than trying to go back and forth with the Craigslist people.

Yeah about all you can do is make your own post, and put a new one up every day so it stays on top. Chances are good that if the ad was left to expire that the car may have sold.
All I can say is jump on it if you see something!

I will do this next...I wrote to craig at
[email protected] and the help desk at craigslist. Plus, I am now a member of craigslist chat room...damn this is starting to get to me

Here is what clint said, I guess he speaks for craig,
Apologies for the trouble, but unfortunately craigslist does not
release
information about posts after they have been removed from public view,
unless the request comes from:
* the original poster
* a court-ordered request (subpoena or a search warrant)
* an individual who is the target of an impersonation or prank post
Thanks,
Clint
