Don't post here much and tried a search but with the word "link" in the search criteria it makes it tough.

I am in the process of hanging a TCI 4-link in my car and am a little unsure on exactly how to set the bars up. Their directions really don't explain how to adjust them. As of now I have it all installed just don't know how to fine tune it so to say. Do you go by the pinion angle, if so do you level the car and measure the pinion angle with the car at what would be ride height?

This is my first experience with this type of suspension so any help or advice I can get will be great. Thanks,

Jimmy

Im suprised the instructions aren't enough to follow.

What I would do is set the bars at the mid point of adjustment then mock up the whole thing with the pinion set at 0 and the axle square. Solid shock mount with no spring at 1" higher than prefered ride height. When you make your shock simulater set it up with 4 different heights to examine suspension changes.
Sometimes I would even tack in the mounts in and do a roll to see if it tracks correctly. This way you can make adjustments as necassary.

Here are the directions if you are interested in reading them, not much there.

Well the 4 link brackets are already welded onto the housing so I have no adjustment there. I guess being that it is a bolt in kit the only room for adjustment would be with the 4 links and only allows pinion adjustment? I really don't know anything about these suspensions, trying my best to learn a little. Thanks again,

Jimmy

its hard to see in the pictures but are the link rod ends welded in or are they threaded?

One end welded one end threaded.
