I Need headers for a 70 Chevelle with an LS2. I've seen pictures of the hookers and they look like they don"t fit well. Stainless works dosen"t make a set yet.I would prefer them to be stainless. Anyone have a set they've already installed and are happy with?

I'm going thru the same problem, has anybody tried some LT's from 2000 Camaro?

Hate to add more to the post without having an answer. I'm trying to find headers for my 65 El Camino with an LS2. Only advantage I may have is I'm using a Schwartz chassis with no crossmember beneath the engine. I'm being told that I may be able to fit F body headers. I am beginning to think it may take custom headers.
Any advice is appreciated.

If you have any Ford Friends you may want to see if they have any 302 or 351W headers laying around. The port spacing is very close and swap guys have cut the Ford flanges off and then they weld on LSx flanges. Plenty of Ls1 powered 2ng Gen RX7s are running 5.0 long tubes on TorqueCentral.

S&P makes "shorty" headers made out of SS. Very nice. If you cant find a long tube header to fit, I can tell you from experiance, it not too bad building your own headers. (and kinda fun) The ford thing is very interesting though. I would look into that.

When Scotty did the TT Ls1 Chevelle the first thing I thought of was looking for Top Mount TT Windsor headers ;)
