tivo ?

ok i have tivo that records suggestions based on what i watch most but it keeps recording shows on like hbo and cinemax for me and i dont subscribed to ..so it is 1-2 hours of nothing..any way to not due this to keep from filling up my harddrive??

View the Channel List screen by going to TiVo Central; then Messages & Settings; then Settings, then Channels, then Channel List.

Then remove the checkmark next to any channels that you do not receive. The channel will no longer show in the TiVo Live Guide. In addition, programs from that channel will not be recorded as TiVo Suggestions and will not be available in Find Programs. (For example, they will not be available in WishLists, or 'Search by Title.')

Or, you can do what I did after "it" screwed up and recorded a suggestion over a season pass show. Turn off recording Tivo suggestions.

You can also use the thumbs up/thumbs down feature to teach the tivo what you like and don't like. Do that enough and it will stop recording those things you don't like.

I put in a bunch of search terms like Pontaic, GTO, Corvette, etc and just let it tape those shows where my keywords are in the description. Between that and season pass, I have plenty to watch.
