I hope to do the conversion on my '77 Pontaic Ventura this winter.

This will work on 1968-74 Novas and Nova clones 67-69 Camaros some Chevelles.
But with extra fab work should work on other years as well.
There set up would work on most all GM 10 and 12 bolts with the 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern..

I've been looking through your old posts as well as links from those posts (like Chevelle Cheap Big Brakes). My application is Tri5 Chevy which most commonly uses an early Monte Carlo/Chevelle disc for conversions, with either matching calipers or later Metric A/G body calipers on a caliper bracket that bolts to the spindle. Looks like your approach should be adaptable to these cars as well? A drum brake hub would work just as well, wouldn't it?

Yeah you should put together a tech article. With part numbers/donor vehicle and prices. I already have c5 front swap started but some rear disks would be nice.

I lost track of this post ... Sorry. There is a little function called Private message. And I answer all of them with a list of part numbers.
I wont do a tech article because Ive done that before with the Small Body HEI conversion wich turned into a PITA because of smart arse know it alls. I also didnt originate either project just did losts of reseach and peiced together info and ideas from other people and turned it from concept to reality.
Heres some pics that i took. I didnt chronicle it because at the time noone cared about My LowBuck Ideas

Did you use the same calipers front and rear?
Do you have the part number for the calipers, either GM or the parts store numbers?
What rotors are you running front and rear?
Like I said though, im more interested in the rear end parts/prices.
If you dont feel like doing an article; can you post up the parts list with prices and suppliers?
thanks.

I can honestly say low buck is the only way I can go. I will also say that when I pm Low Buck X he did do like he said I got a great list of part numbers and where to go get the parts, along with a link on where to get the bracket for the rear end to convert it over to disc brakes.
Thanks,Low Buck X

Is there any reason you can't slip these rotors over a drum brake hub?

Yes you can you would just have to get some caliper brakets and make them work.

In my PM to Low Buck X he said if I had drum brakes I could use the hubs that came with it.
