I just finished building a 69 Hugger Orange Yenko clone that is going to be up for sale on ebay in the next month. I have another 69 that I think I am going to build in the whole pro-touring theme with the TCI subframe and LS1/2, T56, etc... I really love the LS1's and LS2's as I had an 01 TA and I now own an 05 Vette so I def. want one of those engines in the Camaro. Finally, my question. How much horsepower can I expect out of an LS1 with an upgraded cam, headers, throttlebody, computer programming, and Procharger with intercooler or something similar to that? Thanks

Should make an easy 900 hp on 93 octane with a good tune.

With a decent sized cam, (no heads?) and all the supporting mods, you'd probably be around 750hp at 12psi. You'd need to get the compression down, though. Figure at a conservative 8psi you'd be around 625hp (crank).

I would change pistons and rods to make it work better.

*approximate values below
Stock LS1 with exhaust manifolds - 345 crank HP
Add headers = 365 crank HP
Add cam = 405 crank HP
Add Procharger P1SC (stock pulley) = 555 crank HP

Those are general, but give you an idea.
