My car was running rough last night and when I took it home I turned it off and the next morning I went to start it it only turned over, so I changed the coil and nothing happened, then I ran a jumper wire from the batt. to the coil and it started up and then i took it off and put the original coil on and it started up again. WHY!?:banghead:.......oh and I dont know if this helps but I replaced the stock alternator with a 1 wire from powermaster and just left the everything else from the stock alt. unhooked.

can it be that the coil have pulled to much current through the ignition key and have burned some contact point?
you could try putting a relay in instead of pulling all the current through the key

haha all it need was a new coil, i found out the Accel Super Coil was 5 years old and i put on the Blaster 2 and it ran fine.
