mocked them up in the back of my 69 camaro (with dse tubs) and they seem to be the perfect width and off set to work with the rear end i have (60 1/2 inchs disc to disc). it's the stock width rear completely rebuilt and upgraded by toms differential. the spring perch's had some strengthing reinforcements welded in place. to save some money i was considering grinding off all the welds on the perch's and installing the spring perch's supplied from dse after determining the right angle. is this a good idea or should i sell the original rear that i've got and buy a new one?
