Long rod Ford 302?

Ok so we've seen with the LSX engines that modern engineering has gone to a long rod. Is it possible to do the same in a for 302 or would I have to go up to a 351 block to get reliable piston sealing?

Hopefully Modular boy reads this,he has built a few of those engines,I'm sure he can tell you more about it.
i know making it a 331 or 347 shouldn't be a problem.
