My friend just bought the QA1 coilover lowering kit that comes with the adjustable shock and spring that fits into the stock suspension. He also wanted to add dropped spindles with this kit. I was not sure if it is wise to use both. Is there a problem to using both? He is planning on running 15 inch rims. I am not sure how much he wants to lower the car. I was worried if he used the two components together the car would be too low and his purpose is to drive the vehicle. Will the Qa1s do or should he also get the dropped spindles?? Do you guys have any pics of you cars with the QA1s, dropped spindles or both? If so post up and also give me your pros and cons please.

If you do a search for "Drop Spindles", "heidts" or "fatman" you will find hours of reading on the subject.

Where did he get his QA1 shock/spring combo? I've done a search for QA1 but didn't come up with anything concrete. Who has a good deal on them? Are they a true coilover because the top of the spring sits in the upper spring pocket of the subframe? those running them, how is the ride? Is this a good combo for a car that is street/drag raced?
