Has anyone ever dealt with Country Classic Cars in Staunton, IL? From what I've seen in a few trader magazines/websites and on their own website (http://www.countryclassiccars.com/index.htm) it looks like they have ton of classic and muscle cars and trucks. Some of them look a little questionable, but many do look promising.

They are advertising a Chevelle that caught my eye as decent candidate as a new project car. I'm just beginning to look into it, and would like to find out as much as I can beforehand. If you have any info on them, good or bad, or just happen to live nearby, please let me know.

Thanks!
Chris

Whatever you do, do not go to ANYONE named Larry Brown, in Quincy, IL. He is a very dirty dealer.

Actually I was born in Staunton and my brother lives within a couple miles of the place. He has stopped by there a couple of times and said the prices are just crazy but then again he remembers the good old days.

If it's at a dealer, it's overpriced.

If you don't ask you don't get. As long as people continue to pay a lot, dealers will ask for a lot.

True. But those people wouldn't include me. ;) .
