I was working on Bad Ast's rear suspension tonight (on the computer) and I realized the steel Astro springs I have are going to be too long. These springs came out of a later model EXT van and they will hang about 6" out the back of my '88 shortie... Not good.
If I could get some help on spring dimensions I would appreciate it. I have a 2nd gen firebird I can measure but I am curious if there is a difference between the 1st and 2nd gen cars as far as eye to eye length.
I know of a couple of people who have used Jeep front springs in the back when tubbing an Astro but I really don't want to do that if I don't have to.
