we did a whole lot of shaving and smoothing.. i still have to install the rear dse 3inch drop leafs and shocks also the other sidemirror and lights but shes done.
and we havent even sanded and buffed yet either.

i also had the chance to take some photos with bonnie also.

heres the pics..

What a Car!!!! You have built it just as I've been planning to build my 67. It's beautiful! Did you make the grill? if not where did you get it?

Great job! I'm really envious! Now I have to get back to work on mine!

Very nice!!! I like it all... if I did it I would have the headlights showing, but it looks awsome the way you did it, great work!

thanks!...

i thought folks would burn me alive for shaving those big openings. the damn thing took me a whole day just on that panel. filled and smoothed metal.

i did it cause ive never seen anyone do it.. have yall?

and the grille is custom cut, i have to put the lights back in but im debating doing a smaller smoked lightbulb to hide it inside to keep the gi joe snakeyes look.

Did you make the Grille? Would you be interested in making another (if you did)? What would you charge? I have seen similar, but haven't found any one to make it. I hope you don't mind, but my car will look something similar, but in Blue and white (Riptide colors). Similar in style as your master piece. Nice Job!

That is one mean looking machine. I like what you did with it! The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul!

Mr.VENGEANCE
09-27-2006, 07:08 AM
thanks guys..

i wanted to make the camaro mean looking.. tough. street brawler.

because i intend to DRIVE it..

i guess when we buld a car i tend to have the same design elements in my approach as all the others i do, mostly i try and give it an overall look. i dont know if its art but is sure feels good to me.

but im not out of the woods quite yet... i got to finish the engine bay BADLY.. kinda embarrasing right now..

wires everywhere like a rasta dreadlock hat on my engine. hahaha

The engine sounds sweet! I hate to say it, but maybe should have done the engine bay before the beautiful paint job. It makes it so much more difficult when you have to work around freshly painted outsides. I have the same problem with my 80 Camaro.

It is a work of art!
