Can't seem to find who makes these. Also anyone know if you can run something other than a spinner for a center cap on these?
Any help is appreciated........

Well I might have just answered my own question. I think they are Coy's wheels. Anybody know if they do custom offsets?

Yes they do. I ordered my wheels through them.

Is that for their wheels or the Intro's? I know Intro does custom offsets but does Coy's on their own wheels?

"custom" offsets no. but they do offer a variety of backspaces though. Some math will be needed to figure out what backspace you'll need.
Further research shows the are definately coy's wheels.
from the coy's site.

they offer backspaces in 4 3/4 and 5.5 inches.

I like! I'll have to add them to the list for possible rims for my wagon!

Yea I know excatly the rim sizes and backspaces that I will need, but unfortunately it looks as tho they offer none in the sizes I will be needing. I'll have to give am a call and double ck tho.

well there is an alternative. you could order the rims too wide and with too much backspace and have them narrowed by weldcraft. at 115 per wheel it's almost cheaper than going with a "big name" wheel.
Theres also TeamIII that offers a wheel like this and edelbrock.

TonyL= Thanks for the info. TeamIII was who I was trying to remember. Does Edelbrock still make Rims, last I heard they stopped?

Team III makes this in a lug mounted with or without the spinner and a pin-drive with spinner only.

Those wheels were originally made for Eldebrock Wheels when they were in the wheel business. They were made in the USA by Ultra Wheel Corporation for the Eldebrock Wheel licensee. Because of the "Eldebrock" made in USA requirement, the wheels were expensive and did not sell particularly well. This particular wheel was called the "454". There was also another style of wheel called the "409". Eldebrock wheel went out of business and the wheel inventory liquidated. You can still find new sets around. They will have a small retangular recess in the front face of the wheel lip where there was a small Eldebrock sticker. It would not surprise me if the Eldebrock foundary was involved in this venture. If you have a set of the original Eldebrock "454's", Ultra still has parts such as spinners and different center cones in their inventory.
These wheels are now being made again in China and were first sold by Ultra Wheel Corporation. Ultra Wheel Corporation took the molds and sent them to China to one of the many wheel manfacturers over there. The wheels are now made in China and do not have the small retangular recess in the front wheel lip face. They are available in 17x8 inch sizes now for Ford and Chevy. Typically for sale from wheel vendors for $750-$850 a set with lugs and spinners. I have a new set of the China made "454" wheels on one of my 70 chevelle convertibles. The wheels came in Ultra Wheel Corporation boxes. Ultra Wheel is out of California. I bought one of the first sets of China made Ultra "454's" available almost a 1 year ago when they were re-introduced to the market.
The China made "454" wheels are nice. They balanced perfectly for me with new tires. These are cast aluminum wheels. As far as I know they are only available in 17x8 inch sizes and in a single offset. These wheels will NOT fit a G body front hub. Ask me how I know?
Given the fact that Coy's Wheels makes none of their wheels themselves, it would not suprise me that Coy's is also purchasing these wheels from the manufacturer in China and listing them for sale as part of their line of wheels. Coy's has their designs and wheels manufactured by a third party wheel manufacturer in China like most wheel companies in business today. Therefore it would not be hard to get these wheels to add to Coy's or any other vendor's wheel offerings.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the explanation man, that is good info. So I guess for a custom width and backspace the only real option is Team III. I have seen a simlar wheel just introduced from American Racing called the Cobra 427 however it looks slightly different than the Coys which I like a little better.
