View Full Version : The past 4 weeks have been crazy (new direction for project)
Well in the past month all my stuff was stolen for the camaro: My Dart heads, my suspension parts, my 17" boyd timeless 5's, Seats, tires, intake manifold, momo steering wheel....you get the picture. All things said and done about 8k worth of stuff.
I think I might scrap using the motor I have and doing a turboed ls1, since it'll actually be cheaper than finishing building the 377. We'll see if I can get the price I want.
...And I moved the New Braunfels Texas (by san antonio) so I'd love to check out some local PT cars.

if you are gonna go with the ls1 and you're moving to New Braunfels, give High Performance Salvage a call. They're in San Antonio and specialize in ls1 engine swaps and crate motors. good luck......

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm in Austin, shoot me a e-mail at
[email protected], you can come down and see some of our local cars.

New Braunfels is beautiful. I'd love to live there.
Sorry to hear about your stuff getting stolen, did you leave the car outside while you were away or something?
Turbo LS1 good!
NineBall- The stuff was in a storage shed, someone must have had a key or something, no forced entry.
StreetKing- That would be awesome..sending you a mail now.

Matt-
As I'm sure SW and Nineball will tell ya, SA is a great area for doing just about anything car & truck-wise. I was stationed at Randolph AFB for a short while, & have been trying to get back there.
I think you'll also enjoy River City Raceway (RCR); I made some great friends there (I've started two websites with them). I'm not sure how it is now, but the track was nice cheap, sticky, and not so crowded. Some of the Austin to SA to Houston crowd would always show up and make things interesting.
Good luck in your new place!

You should look these guys up for your turbo setup. They are in San Antonio. Look at their credentials, they have some of the fastest Mustangs and LT1/LS1s out there.
