Anybody going to the Cruisin' For A Cure show this Saturday at the Orange County Fairgrounds?

I am bringing my '70 down from Vegas and my dad is entering his '69 Camaro. This will be our first time at this show so if anybody has any impressions on it, I would like to hear them!

Also, for those going, do you guys have any information on what time we can arrive to set up before the show?

Thanks!

Mike

Nevermind on the roll-in time. I found it on their website. Gates open at 4:30am for participants, 7:00am for spectators

I'll be there around 7:30. Have you already registered for the show? They have a 3300 car limit and end up turning cars away. But if you get there early I don't think you will have a problem.

It's a really good show. There are all kinds of cars. Anything goes from total everyday drivers to trailer queens. Its first off all about raising money, then its just about people who enjoy cars checking out cars and car related stuff.
Guaranteed you'll have a good time. Bring your sunglasses.

You can park anywhere or they do have sections setup for Some makes like Corvette', Vipers, Mustangs, PT Cruisers, Camaros etc.
Cars are Crusing the park all day long.

Nice! Yes, I have already registered and I am planning on showing up between 5:30 and 6:00 so I can do a quick clean-up on the cars and setup the tent. I will be with the Chevelle pictured up top, obviously, and a Glacier Blue '69 Z28 RS with white stripes, all original.

We were out in the "north 40" with a group of about 10 2nd Gen Camaros. But right on the cruisin lane. The show looked bigger than ever. I will be there next year for sure.

Where was the North 40? We were almost in the middle of it all one lane over from all of the Corvettes and in the same row as all of the Dodge Magnums, new Chargers, and Chrysler 300s. We were parked behind a beautiful red Impala that was getting a ton of attention. I did the Cruise route once with the headers un-capped in the Chevelle. Didn't take the Camaro around though.
