Hi Guys. My name is Josh Stertz and I am from Omro, WI. I have enjoyed hot rods, muscle cars, street rods, and fast cars since I first started walking and talking. Ask Paul "Bandit" Stertz, my cousin for verification on that one! He probably got sick of hearing about cars when we were little. I like to think that I had some influence on him to become the gearhead he is today. I come from a family that has owned a lot of muscle cars over the years and I suppose that has fed my interest in them. I have had the opportunity to own several myself. However, a dream came true in 1998 when I purchased my 1969 GTO.I need to get a new stronger convertor to withstand the torque of the 455. Does anyone out there have any experience with the Strange S60 rear end in an A-body? I am looking forward to learning all I can on how to properly set up a suspension for handling and traction! Thanks for the help ahead of time!

The only experience I have with the S60 is the one in my 'cuda, I have 4 bar. Don't know about GM A-body suspensions but I am sure the solution can be found here. Try searching through the Suspension forum.
Nice goat Josh.

Welcome to the site, Josh.
Welcome aboard. How about one of the many vendors offering a Ford 9" bolt in???

I have looked at some of the bolt in 9" offerings as well. A friend of mine has his own speed shop and raced Mopars for years. I was talking to him about building up a twelve bolt and he suggested I go to the Strange Axle website. He told me that the Dana 60 was just about bulletbroof and Strange was producing an even stronger version in the
S60. It is comparably priced with the new 9" and 12 bolt rears on the market. I will start a thread for more discussion on the suspension forum.
