Well if all goes right I will be taking the car to the interior shop tomorrow to have the upholstery, headliner, door panels, carpet, etc etc done.
Any advice or 'gotchas' to worry about? I know now about what NOT to put on the car when it goes to the body shop, for example - ANYTHING NEW! :)
Can't really avoid that this time though, as they need to see how everything fits together. Anything to share from your experience?

Thanks,

Hey Tom,

I don't have any advice, but I do have a question: who are you taking it to? I'm about ready for an interior re-do on my 68, would be nice to start scouting out places.

I was at Fuddruckers this last tuesday, the one off el toro, but I didn't see you there! Nice cars though, for sure.

Hey Jared,
Yeah I haven't been there in a while - spending every moment working on the car to get it ready for the interior... I can't stand it any longer like it is :)

I'm taking it to Westminster Auto Upholstery in Placentia.

Got to drive it today for the first time though with the stereo - and I can actually reach it now in the new console :)

I would ask to see as much of their work in person as possible, ask to see what is in the shop and ask to be able to call previous clients to confirm the quality of work.

At least that is what I offer my clients when they come in the shop.......

Lots of people can talk the talk but they usually have their shoes covered in crap......
