haha. 69 Camaro that was built by a good friend of mine. He owned the car for 23 years and finally was forced to sell it for financial reasons, so I was the lucky recipient of all his hard work.

Key items:
Wayne Due front subframe w/ coil overs, FR manual rack, C4 A-arms
BAER brakes front / rear
stock 10 bolt w/ Auburn Pro posi and 3.55 gears
97 LT1 with GM Hot Cam and kit, headers, ~375hp
4LE60
Digital dash
6 point custom roll bar w/ removable harness bar and front bars
17x8" wheels w/ 235-45 and 255-55 tires

Key updates planned:
- add power steering w/ TurnOne pump, AGR rack
- Recaro SPR seats and re-cover rear bench with matching fabric
- replace rear wheels with 9.5" and 275 tires
- replace rear mono leafs and worn shocks with DSE 2" or 3" kit
- replace 4LE60 with Tremec TKO 5-speed

thanks - these shots were also before I spent a couple weeks buffing out the paint - it really shines now!!

I'm just not an AT trans guy - car screams for a manual. I am a track junkie type, but unclear to me how much track time the car will see. I have an Evo that is quite the track machine and a fine daily driver to boot - especially in the wet winter months. And trust me, manual steering and 235 tires is a bitch around town and really loses steering feel at speeds below 50mph IMHO. The car is so nice to drive, I intend to put many miles on it and enjoy it. It only has 4K miles since the new build (less since the paint work) and was only driven 500 miles in the last year. I was hoping to drive it 500 in the first month I owned it but didn't quite make that - I'll hit 500 in the first two months for sure. Really fun to be back in a classic car.

Other hot rods I've owned:
'63 Impala w/ a 540hp 383 set up mostly for drag
'68 Camaro w/ carb 383, mostly a show car / cruiser
'89 IROC w/ 360hp 355 superRam / Tremec - saw lots of autox and road course action
'91 Corvette w/ 400hp 355 superRam
'98 M3
'00 M5
'04 Z06
'05 CTSV

Thanks guys - sure is fun to drive a classic that actually handles and brakes like the modern cars like Corvette's and BMW's that I've grown acustom to....
